OpenAI’s Greg Brockman Ordered to Turn Over Diary to Plaintiffs in MDL
Meanwhile, in the MDL litigation against OpenAI in New York, Magistrate Judge Wang just ordered OpenAI to turn over Greg Brockman’s diary to the Plaintiffs.
The diary came to light during discovery by Elon Musk in his unrelated fraud case against Sam Altman, Greg Brockman, and OpenAI. Judge Gonzalez-Rogers found the diary entries presented a triable issue of fraud at least based on one interpretation.
Whether Brockman’s diary contains any “smoking gun” or damaging evidence for the copyright suit remains to be seen.
